Der SDRplay RSP2 ist ein leistungsstarker, breitbandiger SDR-Empfänger. RSP steht für "Radio Spectrum Processor". Der RSP2 folgt dem Vorgängermodell RSP1 und bietet drei Antenneneingänge sowie neue Stabilitäts- und Taktfunktionen. Das RSP2 ist ein vollständig zusammengebautes SDR-Modul, das alle Frequenzen von 1 kHz (VLF) bis 2 GHz (Mikrowellen) abdeckt und eine enorme Bandbreite von 10 MHz bietet. Es wird in einem schwarzen Kunststoffgehäuse geliefert, das RF-abgeschirmt ist. Er ermöglicht es, das RSP2 sowohl robust als auch leicht tragbar zu machen. Wofür wird er verwendet? Mit seiner großen Deckung bietet der SDRplay RSP2 eine hohe Flexibilität in Ihrer Wunschanwendung. Der Frequenzbereich des RSP2 deckt alle Amateurfunk-, Rundfunk- sowie die ISM-Funkfrequenzbänder (Industrial, Scientific und Medical) von experimentellem LF bis HF, VHF und UHF ab. Der RSP2 ist auch das ideale Werkzeug für den pädagogischen Einsatz. Sie können bis zu 16 einzelne Empfänger innerhalb eines 10-MHz-Spektrums hinzufügen (mit SDRuno Software).
Software: Der RSP2 verwendet die leistungsstarke SDRplay SDRuno Software, die auf Windows basiert. Mit dieser Software können Sie Ihren Computer zusammen mit dem RSP2 in einen allgemeinen Empfangsempfänger oder ein kostengünstiges Spektrumüberwachungsgerät für das HF-Labor umwandeln. Der RSP2 kann auch für zukünftige Standards aktualisiert werden. Der RSP2 kann HF-Leistungs- und Rauschmessungen im Laufe der Zeit für Protokollierungs- und Dokumentationszwecke präzise aufzeichnen. Eine dokumentierte API ermöglicht Entwicklern die Erstellung neuer Demodulatoren oder Anwendungen für die Plattform. Alternativ gibt es weitere frei verfügbare Softwaretypen, zum Beispiel die beliebte HDSDR, SDR-Console und Linux-basierte Cubic SDR. Für Linux-Projekte und -Anwendungen wird SoapySDR unterstützt und ist nützlich für Raspberry Pi-basierten Implementierungen.
