Der Vishay Infrarot-Transceiver ist einer der kleinsten IrDA-konformen Transceiver, die erhältlich sind. Er unterstützt Datenraten von bis zu 115 Kbit/s. Der Transceiver besteht aus einer PIN-Fotodiode, einem Infrarot-Sender und einem Steuerungs-IC in einem einzigen Gehäuse. Er hat einen niedrigen Stromverbrauch von 75 μA im Leerlauf bei 3,6 V.

Er ist auf den logischen E/A-Spannungshub von 1,5 V bis 5,5 V einstellbar
Es ist konform mit RoHS-Richtlinie und bleifrei
